When it comes to the less abled in our society, some change is needed to make sure that everyone has the same level of accessibility, or at least, be on par as much as possible. For the visually impaired, there is always good ol’ Braille to help them read as well as “see” signs, while audible cues are used at places such as busy intersections and traffic lights. Well, the Contact Series idea intends to have just about every household dining object come with raised Braille descriptions, for example, “coffee”, “espresso”, “yours”, “mine”. Since the Contact Series is inclusive in design, it will definitely turn the whole home dining experience into something that is all inclusive. Now to work on an idea that will include both the deaf and the blind in a single device or form factor…
