We know that we covered news of leaked tutorial videos for the upcoming Motorola Droid 3 from Verizon Wireless earlier today, so here is an interesting leaked image of an unknown handset from Motorola – those with sharper eyes would clearly claim it to be the Motorola Droid 3 without a doubt. Discussion is still up in the air as to whether this is a global phone or not, let alone having LTE connectivity. What do you think, after checking out the blurry image on the right? Will the SIM card icon in the status point tell you anything else that you should know?

It is obvious that said Motorola handset is currently undergoing testing, and while the overall design is somewhat similar to the Droid 2, it isn’t the Droid 2 by any means.

Other hardware specifications point towards a front facing camera, and if the display is similar to that on the Atrix, it would mean a qHD resolution most likely. Last but not least, it will be powered on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, just like what was confirmed in our Droid 3 tutorial video post.
