Nissan wants to electrify vans next

Nissan’s foray into the world of commercial electric vehicles (EVs) kick started with the LEAF, and the Japanese company can’t quite get enough of EVs that they will be working on an electric van in the future, with their current NV200 van as the base. The NV200 currently sees action in Japan, Europe, China and Singapore, although Nissan does want to roll it out Stateside and the second most populous country in the world, India.

Nissan will first go about measuring the capacity of the EVs in practical applications, where a test vehicle will be sent out to perform mail-carrying duties in the city of Yokohama. Additional tests will be conducted in the rest of Japan as well as Europe, and once all relevant data is compiled, Nissan will start working on tailoring appropriate vehicles as to meet consumer needs.

Good luck guys, an electric van or MPV is something the market could make do with, and not just hybrids.
