It seems that the color white is an attractive one for hardware manufacturers to roll out – case in point, the white iPhone making quite the splash when it was first announced, and since then, we have had different colored hardware making their mark as well. Nokia’s effort with the ill-fated N9 is not yet over, as the Finnish handset manufacturer has just announced that they will be introducing a white colored Nokia N9, still running on the MeeGo operating system, of course. According to Frank Zillikens from Nokia, “The manufacturing process for beautiful white products is quite complex and we wanted to make sure we deliver the best possible quality for our consumers.”

Other smartphones that come in this endearing, pale shade include the Samsung Galaxy S2, Apple iPhone 4S and Blackberry Bold 9900, not to mention the Droid RAZR also rumored to come in a similar pasty color. Do you think the Windows Phone efforts from Nokia too will be on the receiving end of white colors in due time?
