[CES 2012] Turtle Beach is off the blocks with a fair number of new models for CES, coming in the form of the Ear Force X42, Ear Force X32, Ear Force DSS2, and Ear Force Z11. We will look at some of these in greater detail after the jupm, but first, the Ear Force X42 Wireless Dolby Surround Sound Xbox 360 Headset and Ear Force X32 Wireless Stereo Xbox 360 Headset that will obviously cater to Xbox 360 owners are set to make life more comfortable for your ears, especially if you intend to game for long hours on end. The latter will replace the hugely popular Ear Force X31, and these new models will boast of new 2.4/5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi technology which is capable of actively navigating the wireless landscape at home, sporting 50mm drivers to offer a performance that outstrips those of its predecessors. The Ear Force X32 and X42 will retail for $99.95 and $159.95, respectively.

As for the Ear Force DSS 2 Surround Sound Processor, this will be the latest model of Turtle Beach’s award winning Dolby Surround Sound Processor (DSS), where it intends to change the way you experience surround sound. Somehow, every new model that comes out seem to claim this particular feature, that consumers are more or less numb to such marketing claims, so just let your ears be your judge.
