Sprint has “assured” Epic 4G Touch owners that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be arriving in 2012. That’s pretty vague but it’s a sign that the carrier has not forgotten about the phone. However if you’re not the type to wait or if you want to see what Android 4.0 will bring to your phone, you might be interested to learn that a leaked build of the Android 4.0 ROM is now available for download via the XDA forums. Supposedly this is a near official build of the update that Sprint will be releasing to its subscribers hopefully in the near future. In any case for Epic 4G Touch owners who are curious, head on over to the XDA forums for the download and the instructions. Remember, proceed at your own risk and always make sure to backup your device prior to making any changes in the event that something should go wrong.
