With the Samsung Galaxy S3 taking most of the rumor news for the past few months, there is now clearer picture of what is to come for Verizon Wireless. The folks over at BGR have apparently got information that for what is left of 2012, the carrier looks to have a good year ahead. Firstly, it will come as music to your ears to know that the carrier will be offering Samsung Galaxy S3 after passing on its predecessor and opting to go with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus instead. While there is nothing set in stone as to when the device will be available, their report states that it should be available sometime over summer. Even more on the Android front, there are allegedly a few different Motorola RAZR models that the carrier will feature with one of them most likely to be the Motorola RAZR HD which is essentially the same phone bar the larger and clearer display.

While most readers might think that the star of the list would be the Samsung Galaxy S3, apparently there is something in the roadmap about HTC actually being the top-billing act this time around. They claim that the information that was given to them included a HTC device which will hit Verizon’s shelves in the fall that has a staggering 5-inch 1080p HD non-PenTile screen, a new chipset using a quad-core Krait CPU and an Adreno 320 GPU, HTC Sense 5.0 and a Scribe pen. Apparently HTC is looking to join the fray with a Galaxy Note competitor and if rumors are to be believed, that phone which is unnamed for now will release roughly around the same time as the next iPhone will. For now, this is still not official, so all we can do is wait for any of the companies mentioned above to come out and announce the devices or perhaps wait for an official roadmap to show itself. Until then, do take this news with a pinch of salt. Assume for a moment though that it is true, what do you think? Do you think you would be interested in a quad-core ‘phablet’?
