When the Samsung Galaxy S3 was announced, one of the exclusive apps for it would be Flipboard. iOS users are probably familiar with the app, but its arrival on the Galaxy S3 would mark its first foray on the Android platform. Unfortunately it looks like a version of Flipboard leaked before the Galaxy S3 was launched, thus allowing non-Galaxy S3 owners to enjoy the app. Well if you’re the type that would prefer a more “official” version of the news aggregator, word has it that Flipboard is currently working on launching a beta version of the app for users of non-Galaxy S3 devices. No word on when the beta version of the app will be released and if it will be available for the general public to try, but if you don’t mind not using the “official” version, then head on over to the XDA forums where you will be able to download the leaked version. Until then be sure to check back with us as we will keep you updated on the status of the app!
