If you’re a fan of wireless charging and you happen to own the Nokia Lumia 800 and a Touchstone wireless charging dock, you might want to check out this particular mod. Put together by Oli Gill, he has managed to come up with a mod that would allow his Lumia 800 device to work hand in hand with the Touchstone wireless charging dock. Unfortunately this isn’t as straightforward as slapping on an external accessory to enable wireless charging. In fact you will have to pry your phone open and tinker around with the innards, which Gill claims it took him about 12 hours to figure everything out. Unfortunately there were no instructions provided along with the video, but if you think you’re competent or brave enough to give it a go based purely on what you saw in the video, proceed at your own risk! Plus it should also be noted that messing around with the innards of the phone is a good way to void its warranty. In any case check out the video above for the details.
