A while back it was reported that the VoIP app Viber would be arriving on Windows Phone devices. The rumor at that time suggested a launch the following week but safe to say it did not make it. Well the good news is that if you’ve been looking forward to Viber on your Windows Phone device and/or Blackberry device, you’ll be pleased to learn that the beta version of Viber is now available for download on both platforms. Unfortunately due to its beta nature, it seems that voice calls are not included in the beta and will only allow for Viber messaging that allows for photo, text and location sharing with your other friends using Viber. No word on when the voice call feature will be making an appearance but if you don’t mind giving the beta version a spin, head on over to the Blackberry App World or the Windows Phone Marketplace for the download.
