It wasn’t too long ago that Nokia officially announced that the Lumia 920 would be making its way into European markets, but what about those of us stateside? We’re sure that there are many who are impressed by the Lumia 920’s specs and features and wouldn’t mind giving the Windows Phone platform a shot. Well according to the folks at Bloomberg, it seems that we can expect Nokia’s Lumia 920 to be announced later today. The announcement will be made by AT&T although we’re not sure if this announcement is merely to let the public know that they will be carrying the phone, or if we will be treated to information such as pricing and availability (rumor suggests 21st October).

For those who might have forgotten, the Lumia 920 is Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone device. It will feature a 4.5” PureMotion HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor under its hood clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, an 8.7MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and will run on Microsoft’s latest version of the Windows Phone platform – Windows Phone 8. Either way we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for the announcement so if you’re considering the Lumia 920, check back with us later where hopefully we will have some details to share with you.
