Microsoft’s popular cloud storage service, SkyDrive, isn’t slowing down. Following Microsoft’s recent scuffle with Apple over SkyDrive and its revenue streams, the Redmond-based technology giant is extending the app’s availability into the Xbox 360. “Starting today, we’re bringing even more value to SkyDrive and Xbox customers with a new SkyDrive app for Xbox 360. This means your favorite content is now only one click away, whether you are using the web, your PC, your phone, or now, even your big screen TV,” Microsoft said.

One of the main features of SkyDrive for Xbox 360 is the capability to share photos and videos. This is huge, since this feature will allow users to stream and view photos and videos from their SkyDrive account into their TV. Sounds good right? Another feature is “Snap and See,” which basically lets users capture photos on their Windows Phone and view them on the big screen. To use “Snap and See,” make sure you’re using the same Microsoft account sign-in for both Xbox LIVE and your Windows Phone.

Last but not the least is the Party slide show feature, which lets users create a slide show of their favorite memories on the Xbox 360. SkyDrive app for Xbox supports Kinect voice controls and gestures as well as remote and controller input. To get SkyDrive on your Xbox 360, turn on your Xbox and TV, then go to “Apps” and select “Browse App.” You will find SkyDrive in the Social category. Enjoy!
