nexus-4-wireless-chargerThe Google Nexus 4 Pure Android smartphone has been available for some time, and for those lucky enough to get one before the supply crunch (it’s back on the Google Store now), they may be happy to learn that the official Wireless charger is now available for order, and should ship “soon”  according to the Google Play Store (soon = less than one week?).The charger uses the same Qi Wireless charging technology than other phones like the Lumia 920. Qi is developed by the Wireless Power Consortium and a standard and so far, it is the one that is getting the most support. Hopefully upcoming Samsung phones will also support it, along with public locations. We know that battery density will not increase anytime soon, so the speed and availability of a charge will determine how much more we can use our favorite phones.

We’ve tested the Nexus 4 with the Nokia wireless charger and it works well , but there’s no doubt that Nexus 4 users want to have a matching design, which is arguably beautiful. If you have not read our complete Nexus 4 review, maybe now is a good time. What about never plugging your phone for a charge again? Take a look at the charging device on Google Play
