Nokia Lumia 928 For Verizon Now Rumored For May Announcement Instead

According to previous rumors, the Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon is pegged for a 25^th of April announcement, although that may no longer be the case. According to a report from Bloomberg, they are suggesting that the handset will instead see an announcement in May. In any case with the 25^th of April only being about a week away from May, we guess this might not be as long as a wait, assuming that the reports are to be believed, of course.

For those who haven’t been keeping up with the rumors, the Lumia 928 for Verizon is expected to be a new smartphone from Nokia, and is apparently a phone that will see the Finnish company deviate from the polycarbonate material that has been present in most of its Lumia series of devices. Leaked images and rumors have suggested a metal body, a 4.5” display, an 8MP, all of which packaged into the device pictured above. Take this with a grain of salt for now, but we’ll definitely keep our eyes peeled.
