whitexboxoneThere are always perks to working at large corporations, especially if those corporations are the ones responsible for creating the gadgets and electronics that we use today. We’ve seen Verizon offer their employees special edition handsets in the past, and now it looks like Microsoft could be offering some of their employees a special edition Xbox One console as well. This is thanks to a photo which recently surfaced on the NeoGAF forum which shows off an Xbox One console in a rather striking white finish. According to the rumors, this special edition Xbox One will be offered to full-time staff working in Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business who are still at the company at the launch of the console.

Of course there’s no telling if this photo is genuine since we can imagine it shouldn’t be too hard to photoshop an Xbox One console in white, but at the same time we wouldn’t be surprised if it were true either. Assuming this is true, it is unlikely that regular folks like you and me will be able to get our hands on it, unless of course a Microsoft employee decides to put up their copy on eBay or Craigslist in the future. In any case what do you guys think? Do you like the white finish, or do you prefer the Xbox One in its stealth black finish?
