sony-nex-7Photographers if you are looking forward to some full-frame E-mount cameras from Sony, word on the street has it that Sony could be announcing three such models in the next 5 months. This is according to the folks at Sony Alpha Rumors who seem pretty convinced that the three models could be announced by then. According to the information they have received, two of the models are expected to be part of Sony’s NEX category of E-mount devices, while the third model is expected to be part of Sony’s new ILC category of E-mount cameras, and just like the ILC-3000, it will be shaped like a DSLR as well.

The first model is expected to be announced soon and should be available for purchase before Christmas. Out of the three models, one is expected to be a cheaper model, and the other is expected to be a more expensive one, so it looks like Sony could be appealing to professionals and those who might have a smaller budget. No specific dates were mentioned but we’ll keep our eyes peeled, but until we hear the official word from Sony themselves, do take it with a grain of salt for now. In the meantime who else is looking forward to getting their hands on some full-frame E-mount cameras?
