Pokemon X and Y are releasing in just a couple of weeks both in the Nintendo eShop and at retail with many future Pokemon trainers excited over the latest game headed to the Nintendo 3DS. If you’re a true Pokemon fan, though, you’ll probably want to pick up the special edition Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Nintendo 3DS XL systems.

The Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Nintendo 3DS XL systems feature the likenesses of the Legendary Pokemon Xerneas and Legendary Pokemon Yveltal and are available in either red or blue for $199.99 each. Unfortunately, if you were expecting the special edition Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Nintendo 3DS XL systems to come with a copy of their respective games, you’re out of luck as Nintendo isn’t bundling the game along with this special edition systems.

Considering how many special edition Nintendo 3DS the company bundled with their respective games over the past year or so, we’re as bummed as you are to hear the game won’t be included. Both the Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Nintendo 3DS XL systems are now available for you to pick up, although we’re sure playing with them prior to the launch of Pokemon X and Y will only make the wait that much more excruciating.
