mac-proApple teased their Mac Pro earlier this year at WWDC 2013, with a promise that the computer would be released later this year. In fact a recent sighting of a 4K Sharp display on Apple’s online website seemed to hint that the computer could be on its way, especially given that the new Mac Pro would have no problems support 4K monitors. Either way it would seem that we could be getting closer to a release date as there have been reports that Apple has been approaching businesses and offering them quotes on the Mac Pro and have reportedly become more proactive as of late.

According to the reports, Apple’s business team have been quoting prices of about $9,700 for a maxed-out Mac Pro, while others have been quoted around $4,464 for a build-to-order model which is supposedly slightly cheaper than the retail pricing if it were to be bought by a regular consumer. According to one particular report, the user claims that the Apple business sales team rep told them that the price quote would be available by Monday, the 16th of December, which we’re not sure if it means that it will be available for the public, or if it simply means that the quote will be given to him on the 16th.

Either way we’ll be keeping our eyes and ears peeled for more information regarding the Mac Pro’s release, so be sure to check back with us at a later date for the details.
