nokia-x@evleaks has had its fair share of hits in the past when it comes to information on upcoming devices, and the latest from @evleaks would be an alleged press image of the Nokia X that has been talked about for quite some time already over the grapevine. It would be Nokia’s first foray into the Android-powered world – which is interesting, really, where it would also be somewhat a replacement for the Asha line, making it instantly affordable to the masses, compared to it being a high end device that will duke it out against the likes of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4. In the leak, it seems that the Nokia X will be the official name of the handset, where it was also referred to as the Nokia Normandy in the past.

Previously leaked information pointed to the Nokia X as sporting a 4” display while running on the Android platform that has been masked with an interface which happens to be a mixture of Asha and Windows Phone’s tiles. As for the other bits and pieces of the Nokia X that we do not yet know, the word on the street point to either a 3P or 5MP shooter, with some suggestions touting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system version of choice, while others tout Android 4.4 KitKat.
