Earlier today HTC finally announced its much awaited, and extensively leaked, smartphone. All New HTC One a.k.a the HTC One M8 is now official. T-Mobile has already announced that it is going to carry the smartphone. The T-Mobile New HTC One will be launched next month, it will be offered along with unlimited talk, text and data. Since T-Mobile is the “un-carrier,” customers won’t be tied down to a conventional two year service contract.

Magenta hasn’t confirmed exactly when the All New HTC One is going to be released next month. It also hasn’t confirmed pricing, so we’ll have to wait for official word on that. So far the carrier has only said that starting next month the smartphone will be available for purchase with its Simple Choice Plan through retail stores as well as its website. T-Mobile’s variant of HTC’s 2014 flagship will also feature the carrier’s Wi-Fi calling and HD voice features.

As expected, the All New HTC One comes with a 5 inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM, LTE, Wi-Fi up to AC and a 2,600mAh battery. It also has a rear Ultrapixel camera coupled with a depth sensor, HTC BoomSound for an improved audio experience and several user interface tweaks.

The smartphone’s main rival, Samsung Galaxy S5, is also going to be released next month, April 11th to be precise. T-Mobile is carrying it as well, and it has also started taking pre-orders for it. Magenta hasn’t said if and when it will be taking pre-orders for the All New HTC One.
