nokia-ms-bookMicrosoft completed their acquisition of Nokia’s smartphone division not too long ago last month, and this particular process would also see a ballooning in Microsoft’s workforce that has swelled to 25,000 new employees. Well, it has been reported that Microsoft actually provided those new team members with a cool gift that is actually a book titled “One”, sporting 128 pages within.

Microsoft and Nokia managed to snag the services of UK-based TCOLondon in order to come up with this book, which has been specially designed in order to inform the new employees the rich history of technological innovation in both companies. The One book can be said to be a product that has impressive production values and illustrations, making it a worthy addition to any coffee table.

By far and large, this is a whole lot better compared to any other boring, old worker’s manual, and with a better appreciation on your new company as well as depicting how the values of both companies do overlap from time to time, I am quite sure it will serve as a catalyst to the workers who are so used to pledging their allegiance to Nokia all these years. Surely not all changes are bad, don’t you think so?
