It was first rumored earlier this month that Samsung is close to launching a new tablet called the Galaxy Tab S. Recently we saw a couple of leaked pictures of this tablet and today additional pictures have surfaced online. It is not known when Samsung intends to launch this tablet but by the looks of things it possible that the company might soon announce it.

The new pictures come from FCC. Its not often that the FCC publishes images of unannounced devices that make a mandatory pit stop to receive certification. Often it only publishes sketches which just give us a hint of what the actual design is. Given that the FCC has now published these images it is safe to assume that Samsung won’t be making any additional modifications to the design.

This particular tablet is said to be the SM-T800 model which is apparently the Wi-Fi only model. Previous rumors suggest that the tablet has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 2,560×1,600 pixel resolution. Galaxy Tab S may also be available in the same resolution with an 8.4-inch display as well.

Under the hood it is expected to be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor. An 8 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera is rumored alongside Android 4.4 KitKat. An LTE-variant will possibly be available as well. No word as yet on release date or pricing.
