OneDrive from Microsoft has definitely ended up as an attractive option today for those who are on the lookout for a cloud storage option, and with so much competition going around, is there a reason to jump aboard the OneDrive bandwagon? Apparently, so, as Microsoft has just slashed its prices, offering a new monthly price point of $1.99 for 100GB (which previously stood at $7.49), while those who would want to double that amount will have to fork out just $3.99 a month, which is a steep discount from its previous $11.49 price point. Before you fall off your chair, should you be an Office 365 subscriber, you will also be on the receiving end of 1TB of storage space, now how about that for generosity?
This particular offer will be applicable across the slew of consumer SKUs, beginning with Office 365 Personal that will cost $6.99 each month. At that price point, you would end up with 1TB of storage and Office, in comparison to a monthly price of $9.99 for 1TB of storage on Google Drive alone. This is a steal, considering how Dropbox charges the same amount for 90% less storage space.
