lg-g-vista-verizonSo we have been hearing a lot about the LG G Vista. According to the rumors, the handset could be headed Verizon’s way and according to the folks at Droid-Life, they claim that according to their sources, the handset could be released as soon as this Thursday. The handset is expected to be priced at $99 with a new two-year contract, or $499 for those who’d rather not be tied down.

As far as its specs are concerned, the LG G Vista is not the high-end handset we had initially thought, although it does share some features of the high-end LG G3 in the form of a laser auto focus. However apart from that, the rumors of the handset includes a 5.7-inch display with a 720p HD resolution, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, a microSD card, an 8MP rear-facing camera, and will come with Android 4.4 KitKat.

As far as the design is concerned. it looks a lot like the LG G3. However it is slightly bigger with its 5.7-inch display, making it 0.2-inches larger than the LG G3, but given the fact that the handset only packs a 720p HD display versus the LG G3’s QHD display, safe to say that in terms of sharpness, the LG G3 takes the cake. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but if the rumors are right, we guess we can look forward to hearing an announcement from Verizon tomorrow.
