microsoft-surface-pro-3__43Word on the street has it that the Surface 3 from Microsoft will be launched later this coming October. The question is this, should we be surprised? Well, when the software giant rolled out the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 some time last month, it goes without saying that Microsoft ought to be working on a refresh for its lower end device, too, which would be the Surface. Word on the street has it that there is a new 10.6” Surface that is in the pipeline at the moment, and it is set to enter production soon with a speculated October release date.

Apart from that, it is said that production for the components of the Microsoft Surface 3 is set to kick off some time next month, with volume production happening in September. When one takes into consideration that the Microsoft Surface 2 was launched in October of 2013, it is more or less safe to make the assumption that the upcoming device will be the Microsoft Surface 2. The executives over at Microsoft do expect the Surface 3 to be a better seller compared to the Surface 2, and no doubt part they would have been galvanized by the sales figures of the Surface Pro 3 to date. Would you be interested to pick up the Microsoft Surface 3 when it arrives?
