BlackBerry has always been known for their QWERTY keyboard smartphones, although they have attempted to blend in with the more recent devices by creating full touchscreen handsets. However it looks like BlackBerry could have realized that the old way worked the best for them, which is why they have created the BlackBerry Classic.

Now the handset has been pegged for an announcement this Wednesday and while we have seen a variety of leaked photos in the past, BlackBerry fans might be interested to learn that thanks to a video that surfaced recently, the BlackBerry Classic has been caught in action. The video is thanks to @DHabkirk who shared it on YouTube and you can check it out for yourself in the video above.

For those who are learning about the BlackBerry Classic for the first time, it is essentially a BlackBerry smartphone designed to look like the BlackBerry phones of yore. However it does sport a slightly more look to it and it will run on BlackBerry 10, which is the Canadian company’s latest operating system.

No word on when it will be released to the carriers and the public nor how much it will cost, but we expect that BlackBerry will have more to share come this Wednesday, so do check back with us then for the details.
