blackberry-classic-leaked-5Earlier this week thanks to leaked photos, we managed to catch a glimpse of the BlackBerry Classic, a handset which BlackBerry will be aiming at old school BlackBerry users who might favor the “classic” look and feel of BlackBerry’s QWERTY devices. Now we know some of the alleged specs of the handset, at least based on the rumors.

The phone is said to feature a 3.5-inch display and will be powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM. However thanks to a new rumor, the camera of the BlackBerry Classic has been revealed to be of the 13MP variety.

This is thanks to information leaked on Weibo, which is China’s equivalent of Twitter. The rumors claim that the 13MP camera is currently being tested to see if it will be able to record videos in 4K quality, although we have to wonder what kind of frame rates we might be looking at here.

There’s no way of verifying this information at the moment but a 13MP camera would definitely put it on par with other smartphones out there in the market today, at least on paper since image quality will also have to do with lens and the image processing, but what say you? How does the idea of a 13MP camera on the BlackBerry Classic sound?
