shamu-lg3It was just yesterday that we managed to catch a glimpse of the Motorola Shamu in a mock up photo, and while that does not mean it is the real deal, it does point to the very real possibility of the final product looking something like it. Having said that, another image of the Motorola Shamu has popped up yet again, and this time around it has a “friend” to play with – that of the LG G3.

Also known as the Nexus X, the Motorola Shamu’s leaked photo that you see here happen to be rather challenging to sniff down, and there are signs that point it to being posted by a commentator who responded to some stories found over at Android Police and Droid-life. The alleged poster of the image also claimed that the Nexus X aka Motorola Shamu is tipped to arrive on Verizon Wireless, and here we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be sold as an unlocked device, too.

It does look as though the Motorola Shamu resembles the Moto X (2014) rather closely, being larger in size compared to the 5.5” LG G3. As for the hardware specifications, word on the street has it that the Motorola Shamu will arrive with a 1440 x 2560 (Quad HD) pixel resolution, a 12MP camera at the back that does 4K video recording, a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3GB RAM. The question is, will it bend?
