ios-8-camera-roll

Camera Roll has been around on iOS devices for as long as we can remember but the company sent it packing with iOS 8. Instead of Camera Roll the new software brings something called Recently Added which lists all of the pictures taken with that device over a particular period of time. If a new report is to be believed it looks like Apple may have had a change of heart. In the latest iOS 8.1 beta seeded to developers the Camera Roll has been brought back where it should have been all along.

Even though it was not mentioned in the release notes Product-Reviews discovered that the Camera Roll was back in its original position on iOS 8.1 beta. However its too soon to be sure whether Apple has merely just renamed Recently Added to Camera Roll or whether it has been brought back in the original fashion.

A recent report suggested that Apple has already begun work on iOS 8.1, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3. This is proof enough. Rumor has it that iOS 8.1 may be released alongside the new tablets later this month but there’s no confirmation at this point in time.

There’s always the possibility that Apple may reverse its decision to bring back Camera Roll so keep your fingers crossed if you’ve never like Recently Added since the very first day you set your eyes upon it.
