We have all seen countless rumors and leaks of the Motorola Droid Turbo and Verizon is expected to officially unveil the device soon. Some new pictures of the Droid Turbo have been leaked online and these pictures show the device in its full retail packaging, at least that is what the source claims. It is also claimed that the Droid Turbo will actually go on sale two days after it is announced by Verizon on October 28th.

As far as the specifications are concerned the Motorola Droid Turbo is believed to have a 2,560×1,440 pixel resolution display with a Snapdragon 805 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and a 21 megapixel rear camera. The battery is believed to come in at a massive 3,900mAh.

Verizon has also teased that it will soon be unveiling a new Droid handset and even a full render of the device was leaked by the carrier’s Twitter account. It even hinted that rapid charging is going to be one of the biggest features of this device. It looks like the Droid Turbo will be the only addition to Verizon’s Droid lineup this year.

A tweet from Moto Firmware says that the Droid Turbo will be available from stores and retailers two days after Verizon announces it on October 28th. There has been no official confirmation from the carrier regarding this as yet.
