BlackBerry_Classic_9The old has gone, the new has come. Somehow, there are times in life when the new does not really make all that much sense at all since it has brought about more spills as opposed to thrills. The upcoming BlackBerry Classic comes in a design that is touted to make fans of the older BlackBerry models return to this brand where their smartphone of choice is concerned, and it has been available for pre-order over in the US and Canada ever since November rolled around, with shipping of this classic device tipped to happen some time on December 17.

However, BlackBerry has listed only the black version of the smartphone over on its official website. N4BB has managed to come up with a render that does point to a white variant, although nothing official has been announced to mention whether the white version of the BlackBerry Classic will roll out simultaneously alongside the black colored handset. Regardless, we do not expect the white BlackBerry Classic to fetch insane prices on eBay ala 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4 edition, which points to an unlocked price of $449 a pop.

Just to recap, the BlackBerry Classic will feature a full QWERTY keyboard, a square 3.5” display at 720 x 720 pixels resolution, LTE connectivity, an 8MP camera at the back, a 2MP front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, a dual-core Snapdragon 1.5GHz processor, and 16GB of internal memory, with BlackBerry 10 OS running proceedings from within.
