Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro Brings Layered Design With A Full Metal Back

VIBE-X2-Pro-5Lenovo is showing off a new smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015. It is called the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro. Key features include a layered design and a full-metal back. According to Lenovo this “redefines smartphone craftsmanship” giving users a premium look and feel for a great price.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro has a 5.3-inch 1,920×1,090 pixel resolution IPS wide-view display with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 614 1.5GHz octacore processor under the hood. There’s 2GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED front, its the same camera upfront with gesture controls and “beautification tools.”

Weighing 140g, this smartphone also brings Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, HSPA+ and LTE. GPS with A-GPS support and a variety of sensors are also onboard. It supports dual nano SIM and comes with an embedded 2,410mAh battery.

The Android 4.4 KitKat powered Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro comes in a range of vibrant colors splashed on its full-metal back which according to Lenovo gives it a “striking high-contrast profile” and make it stand out from the competition.

Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro will be available for $499 later this month. The company says that it will not be available in the U.S. from the get go.
