When developers work on a game, you can be sure that they do their utmost best in order to make sure that there are no glitches in the game itself when it is released. However, since one, or even a group of brains are unable to figure out everything right from the get go, all the way to the end of the game itself, you can be sure it would be the avid and hardcore gamers themselves who would be able to sniff out an exploit or loophole. Well, YouTube user Minecraft SethBling has done just that, as you can see in the 9-minute video above – by performing a range of draconian actions in Super Mario World in order to summon forth a glitch, while beating the classic platform game from Nintendo in the process.

The YouTube video claims that those actions enabled him to “set up the console’s memory in just the right way, then perform a glitch which will cause the credits to play without defeating Bowser.”

Seems to be a decent way just to get all the way to the credits, perhaps it is not so much as beating the game, but rather, just to skip the game itself and head over to the credits. Who would want to see the credits anyway, apart from the occasional Easter Eggs in there?
