far-cry4We can only imagine that after spending about $50-$60 on a new game, it must be incredibly frustrating that you aren’t able to play it. Well unfortunately that is an issue plaguing Far Cry 4 gamers on the Xbox One at the moment. According to a report from Videogamer, there are gamers out there claiming that they have found themselves suddenly unable to play the game.

According to some users, they claim that they were originally able to play the game when suddenly one day out of the blue, they were unable to play it. They have tried various methods such as rebooting their console and resetting their router but to no avail. They are also greeted by error messages that says, “content not available” despite them legitimately purchasing the game.

Ubisoft has since acknowledged the problem and stated that they are looking into it. According to Ubisoft community manager Mr. Shade, “The team are actively investigating the issue this side. however it’s also worth contacting Xbox support – since it appears that the game has been removed from the Store – this has happened for some – please check if it’s still available to you – if not, it ‘could’ be related to that, which MS are investigating too – however as I say, Ubisoft are looking into the issue as a matter of urgency.”

That being said there are also newer reports that the game has reappeared in the Xbox Store after having mysteriously disappeared and with claims that the issue has been fixed. It is unclear if this applies to all gamers and Ubisoft has yet to comment on what was the issue to begin with. Either way we will be keeping an eye on this, but in the meantime any Xbox One gamers having issues with their copy of Far Cry 4?
