Like to keep all your files in the cloud? Then Microsoft’s new promotion is going to be particularly enticing for you. The company is offering 100GB of free OneDrive storage, and that too for two full years. Its not unusual to see cloud storage companies offer discounts or promotions to bring in more users, for Microsoft cloud storage is just one part of its business, and clearly it has the leverage to offer massive amounts of free storage in a promotion.

Microsoft’s cloud storage service was previously known as SkyDrive. It was later rebranded to OneDrive following a legal dispute. The company has done a good job of integrating the service with many of its other products so its not like OneDrive has struggled to get off the ground.

There is just one caveat though. This promotion is only open to U.S. residents. In order to take advantage of this promotion, which offers 100GB free OneDrive storage for two years, all one has to do is to sign up for a free Bing Rewards account.

Once the free account has been created go over to the Bing Rewards dashboard, click on the “100GB free” link, agree to receive promotional emails from OneDrive every now and then, and that’s all that needs to be done.

Those who would rather pay for their storage, folks living outside the U.S. can’t take advantage of this promotion any way, now have to pay $1.99 per month to get 100GB on OneDrive.
