Late last month Microsoft showed off the consumer version of Windows 10. A preview is already out for the desktop version of this software. The company did say that its going to release the Windows 10 for Phones preview in the near future but it hasn’t given us a confirmed date yet. There have been plenty of rumors about the Windows 10 for Phones preview release date so far none of them have been true. The latest claims Microsoft will release the preview tomorrow.

Even the publication that received this tip anonymously is skeptical about the claims, NPU says that the tip didn’t come from their “regular sources,” so the authenticity of the information provided can not be confirmed.

According to the rumor build 8.15.12495.44 of Windows 10 Techincal Preview for Phones will be released on Monday, February 9th, at 9am PST.

Microsoft employees are rumored to be testing the build and if they don’t find any major bugs they will release the software for Windows Insiders tomorrow morning.

Apparently not all of the supported Windows Phone devices will be compatible with the preview at first but over time support for more devices is promised.

Microsoft has not confirmed and denied the rumor. Then again, it doesn’t really need to, the company will release the preview on its own time.

Lets see if its time is indeed tomorrow.
