oneplus inviteIt looks as though the folks over at OnePlus are finally ready to join up with the rest of the smartphones that will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Over on their official forums, the company did take note that they will make a push for the Android 5.0 Lollipop Over The Air (OTA) update for the OnePlus One smartphone – and this is set to happen on March 30th itself or before that, so we will have this couple of weeks to ponder over OnePlus’ next move.

It was just last month where there was a report by Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, who stated that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is tipped to roll out some time in March. Well, it is nice to see a company keep to their word, and OnePlus One owners should start to look forward to the Android 5.0 Lollipop-based CyanogenMod 12S OTA on their respective smartphones in coming fortnight.

Apart from that, OnePlus has also delivered a timeline in order to roll out the first official version of its very own developed OxygenOS that is based on Lollipop, where one can then download it by March 27. If you are a OnePlus One owner, are you stoked with this particular piece of news? Better late than never after all, right?
