Nokia-Z-Launcher-widgetsLast year Nokia unveiled the Z Launcher which for those unfamiliar, is a launcher designed for Android devices and is one of the ways Nokia is trying to get its foot inside the Android door. Over the months the company has pushed out a variety of updates designed to improve upon the app, and if widget support is what you were after, you’re in luck.

The Finnish company has recently released its latest update for the Nokia Z Launcher app and with the update comes support for home screen widgets. If widgets wa a feature you sorely missed from the launcher then the update should do the trick. According to Nokia, it seems that widget support was one of the most requested features from its users, so it’s good to know that the company is paying attention.

Users can add widgets to the home screen pretty easily, kind of like how most other launchers add widgets. All you’d have to do is tap and hold on the screen and the option should show up where you can drag and drop your widgets onto the home screen. Users will also be able to resize them like they normally would to suit your layout needs or preferences.

If you haven’t updated your Z Launcher or have yet to check it out, you can do so by heading on over to the Google Play Store for the download, although it should be noted that as it stands, the app is still currently in beta.
