oneplus2-fingerprintThe folks over at OnePlus have done it again – teasing us with the OnePlus 2, and this time around, it will boast of a fingerprint scanner – something that high end smartphones seem to come with in this day and age. I suppose it will eventually be a normal function for all mid-range handsets too, just like how a Full HD display is starting to become more and more common among that target market. Well, we do know that the OnePlus 2 will be unveiled to the masses in a VR event that is set to happen this coming July 27th beginning at 10pm EDT, which should be a cool event by all intents and purposes.

Just to refresh our memories, the OnePlus 2 will most likely come with a display that measures anywhere between 5.5” and 5.7”, where resolution count remains unknown – will it be Full HD, or will it be QHD instead? However, we do know that the Snapdragon 810 SoC will be the hardware that keeps it going, where it will comprise of an octa-core CPU alongside an Adreno 430 GPU. Expect a Type C USB port to keep the handset company, which would certainly help boost its marketability in all regions, since Type C USB looks set to forge a future not only in the world of smartphones, but portable devices as well.
