flash-sales-one-plus-one

A few days back OnePlus teased an announcement for June 1st which led many to believe that the company would finally unveil the successor to its first smartphone. However we found out just yesterday that this wasn’t the case, it had merely used the hype machine to create buzz for another announcement which had nothing to do with the OnePlus 2. Today the company has confirmed that it’s launching “flash sales” for the OnePlus One throughout this week.

As part of these flash sales customers can purchase the OnePlus One handset directly from the company for $249. That’s a $50 discount on the regular price of the 16GB Silk White model which normally goes for $299.

The 64GB Standstone Black model can also be picked up during these flash sales for $50 off, customers will pay $299 instead of $349.

OnePlus reminds potential customers that during this week stock is limited to they should not waste any time in getting their orders in if they’re interested in picking up the OnePlus One at a discounted price.

The schedule for these flash sales has been posted on the company’s website, it will also offer these discounts in other markets, except southeast Asia and India.

As far as the OnePlus 2 is concerned, the company’s co-founder Carl Pei recently confirmed that the successor will not be launched until Q3 2015.
