The first DLC pack for Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be released for players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this week. This title has also been released for PC but since its launch it has been plagued with several issues. Work is still underway to address those issues and fix the PC port of this game, but it has now been confirmed that the first DLC for players on PC will be delayed.

It wouldn’t really make sense to release paid DLC for a title that’s actually not being sold right now. Warner Bros. suspended sales of Arkham Knight for PC soon after the issues were reported, sales have not yet been resumed.

Some reports have suggested that these issues were actually known to Warner Bros. before the launch of this title on PC, clearly they didn’t do enough or else they won’t be facing this problem.

In an entry on the official Arkham Knight support forums Warner Bros. has confirmed that addressing PC performance issues is its “top priority” and work is being done to come up with the required fixes. It will provide an update on the progress next week.

The increased focus on improving the PC version of this game has had an impact on development of all DLC content for the PC version, which is why the first DLC will not be released for PC players on July 14th.

Batman: Arkham Knight’s first DLC is title Batgirl: A Matter of Family and it features a playable Batgirl set before the events of Arkham Asylum.
