iPhone6C_003It can be assumed that Apple will introduce two new iPhones later this year in the form of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Now we have heard some rumors that there could be a smaller iPhone 6c in the works, but there have also been conflicting reports with some suggesting that the device might only be launched next year.

However the ever reliable @evleaks has since stepped forward with a new tweet suggesting that this year’s iPhone announcement could also include the iPhone 6c. Like we said there have been conflicting reports of the iPhone 6c, with some claiming that the plan for the device’s launch this year has been scrapped.

In fact one of the people who reported that there will be no 4-inch iPhone 6c this year is none other than noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Both Kuo and @evleaks have had pretty solid track records when it comes to reporting on leaks and rumors, so to have conflicting reports on either side pretty much puts everything up in the air.

We suppose this information is best taken with a grain of salt for now, but with rumors suggesting that the iPhone announcement is expected to take place on the 9th of September, we guess we won’t have to wait much longer to find out which of the rumors have proven to be true.
