If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge but haven’t made the purchase yet because the price seemed a bit too high now is your time to get one. T-Mobile has cut prices of both Samsung flagships following the company’s recent announcement that it will adjust the prices of these two handsets to ensure that sales momentum continues throughout the year.

T-Mobile has cut $100 off 32GB and 64GB models of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, full retail pricing for a base model 32GB Galaxy S6 now starts at $579 and $679 for the Galaxy S6 edge.

There’s an even better deal to be had on the 128GB models because T-Mobile has cut prices of this particular storage option for both devices by $200. A 128GB Galaxy S6 can now be purchased from T-Mobile for $659 and the Galaxy S6 Edge can be had for $759.

The only caveat here is that if you want to go with another mobile carrier you’re out of luck because only T-Mobile has reduced the prices so far. It’s likely that other carriers will make similar moves but they’ve not yet revealed when the new pricing for these handsets will go in effect.

Samsung’s decision to cut prices of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge may also be linked to the upcoming announcement of its two new handsets which are expected to be unveiled at an event on August 13th.
