It has long been rumored that Apple is going to release a 21.5 inch 4K iMac, many have expected that this is going to happen particularly after the company launched its 27 inch 5K iMac in October last year. If this turns out to be true then Apple is certainly going to have a very busy fall because in just a few days time the company is going to show off its new iPhones and possibly even new tablets.

While Apple has traditionally waited for a month or so after announcing new iPhones to unveil new iPhones a latest report suggests that this time around the new tablets might be unveiled alongside the new smartphones. Apple has an event scheduled for September 9th.

Obviously it can’t be said for sure right now if this is really going to happen, Apple doesn’t confirm these things prior to the actual announcement so we’ll have to wait for the keynote to find out for sure.

A new report today claims that next month Apple is going to launch a 21.5 inch iMac with 4K display, it will provide a cheaper alternative to those who want a very high-resolution display on an iMac without having to pay as much as they would have to for the 5K model. Apparently the new iMac’s release might be timed with the public release of OS X El Capitan in October.
