OnePlus-X-black-white

Update – Turns out the images are that of a photoshopped Vivo X5 Pro, nothing to see here folks!

The OnePlus X will be officially revealed on the 29th of October, although thanks to various sightings, the design of the handset has been revealed several times over so unless OnePlus is trolling us, we more or less know what we can expect.  That being said, new photos have since made their way online, showing off the phone in a black and white finish.

This new photo seems to be more or less in line with what we’ve seen so far. To be honest it also reminds us of the iPhone 4/4S design. However if you don’t mind the similarities, that’s actually a good thing as both handsets are pretty well-designed, so why not? While it’s hard to tell from the photo, there is also a chance that the phone will sport a glass back cover.

While it does make for a great design, dropping it will probably not be the best idea either. Apart from this photo, the new leak did not reveal anything new. So far what we do know are based on rumors. The rumors are claiming that the phone will feature a 5-inch Full HD display, and under the hood a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset can be found.

So far it might not sound like the most powerful handset out there, but it does feature a sleek design and with a rumored price tag of $220-$250, it will be a pretty affordable one as well. Either way do check back with us next week for the official details.
