Lumia_950_1Thinking about getting your hands on Microsoft’s flagship smartphone the Lumia 950? The handset was officially announced back in October and as we learnt, the phone would be exclusive to AT&T. Unfortunately what we do not know is when the Lumia 950 will be officially released.

However according a report from Windows Central, they have heard from their sources, along with some deduction, that the phone will be launched on the 20th of November which is next Friday. Now you might be wondering why next Friday? Why not this Friday, or next, next Friday, or why even Friday at all?

For starters AT&T did state that the phone will be released in November so pretty much any day this month is a valid one. Secondly Windows Central points out that AT&T tends to favor Friday releases and because the 13th of November (this Friday) is too soon (we’re not sure why it is considered too soon), that means we have the 20th and 27th to work with.

However the 27th of November is Black Friday meaning that the phone could potentially be lost amongst the sea of other offers, or customers might not want to spend their money on a phone then. This means that the 20th is probably our best bet. Of course it should be taken with a grain of salt, but either way do check back with us in the coming weeks for the details.
