surface-phone-benchmark

Not too long ago Microsoft unveiled two new Lumia flagship handsets that many had been waiting for a long time. The company certainly took its time to launch new flagship handsets and in between we kept hearing rumors that perhaps it would eventually come out with a Surface Phone as well, a brand new handset that carries the Surface branding that already covers Microsoft’s tablets and even its first laptop. It appears that the Surface Phone has been spotted in an online benchmark result.

It has been rumored multiple times that Microsoft could end up making a Surface Phone, which would presumably be a high-end device that is worthy of the Surface moniker.

Obviously the company has not yet said anything about such a device, it hasn’t even hinted at dropping the Lumia brand for high-end smartphones, so there’s no official confirmation regarding any of this.

Nevertheless the benchmark discovered by WinFuture shows the test device as Microsoft Surface Phone running Windows Phone 10.0. It could be the real deal and Microsoft could have this handset in the pipeline or this just might be an elaborate fake. Both possibilities have to been considered until and unless there’s official word from Microsoft, and who knows when that will arrive.
