A deal was struck with the BBC to allow Doctor Who to arrive in the Lego Dimensions game and the good doctor also received his own Lego playset, and if a new report is to be believed, this partnership may be headed to a whole new level. It’s said that Doctor Who might have a role in The Lego Movie 2, joining the likes of Wyldstyle, Emmet and others on the big screen.

The first Lego Movie proved to be quite a hit and it did have cameos ranging from DC super heros to characters from Star Wars, Rob Schrab will be sitting in the director’s chair for the next one, and he has teased that Warner Bros. and the team involved with the new movie are having discussions with the BBC for the Doctor’s appearance in The Lego Movie 2.

Schrab didn’t go into too much details about what a potential deal would entail, whether the Doctor will merely have a cameo like Chewbacca and Han Solo did in the first movie, or have a much more prominent presence like Batman did in The Lego Movie.

Fans do seem to like the idea, they did appreciate Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor in Lego Dimensions, so they may not be entirely opposed to seeing him in the new movie as well.
