It seemed that the former chief executive of Torquing Group, which is also the firm behind the Zano, has resigned last night, and this certainly caused more than a small ripple as the many thousands who had faith in the project and collectively invested more than £2m a year ago are now in a world of despair.
Ivan Reedman, the engineer who helped design of the mini-drone, shared on his reasons for leaving, “My resignation is due to personal health issues and irreconcilable differences. To say I am devastated pales when compared to what I am feeling.”
Those who backed the Zano mini-drone were far from amused, and one backer wrote, “Fingers crossed Zano can continue for the benefit of everyone (including me) that has invested their hard-earned money.” Hopefully all will end well for everyone at the end of the day.
