apple watch

It not hard to forget that earlier this year when the Apple Watch was first released there were serious supply shortages which compelled Apple to really control the purchase process. Even its own retail stores allowed walk-in purchase after quite some time before supply finally eased up and enabled Apple to allow third-party retailers to start selling the Apple Watch. Multiple retailers are already selling this smartwatch and now the Apple Watch has landed on shelves of the biggest retailer.

Walmart has confirmed that it’s now selling the Apple Watch albeit only at selected outlets right now. The retailer will have the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch Sport models in stock in silver and space gray colors, with prices ranging from $349 to $399 depending upon the model selected.

Best Buy was the first third-party retailer to start sales of the Apple Watch and Target followed suit in October. Apple took its time to bring its first smartwatch to Walmart but now it’s finally here.

The fact that it’s now available at the country’s biggest retailer bodes well for the device’s reach to potential customers across the United States. It helps that Walmart has started carrying the Apple Watch around the time when people are picking out Christmas presents either for themselves or their loved ones, and the Apple Watch certainly figures high on many lists as the must have gifts this holiday season.
